To Julius' surprise, she has brought the man of her dreams with her from the States, whom she wants to marry at Christmas. Thomas Berner is an event manager from Dresden and fifteen years older than Julia! When Julia realizes that her father has hired a private detective to keep tabs on her fiancé, it causes a rift between father and daughter. With a heavy heart, Julius finally comes to accept his future son-in-law, and after clearing up a misunderstanding, the two men even become friends. But then Julia gets cold feet and breaks up with Thomas.

The constant quarrels between the adults make things difficult for Michael until he discovers Willy and the puppies. The boy lovingly begins to look after the dogs.

Bambi

The Bambi, often called the Bambi Award and stylised as BAMBI, is a German award presented annually by Hubert Burda Media to recognize excellence in international media and television to personalities in the media, arts, culture, sports, and other fields "with vision and creativity who affected and inspired the German public that year", both domestic and foreign. First held in 1948, it is the oldest media award in Germany.
