The story revolves around a poor Egyptian young man who is obsessed with Princess Diana, until he comes across a Danish girl who looks like her. As he becomes crazy and starts chasing after her, he tries to save her from an assassination attempt.

During World War II, Taj, the renowned boxer in Damascus, is accused of treason, tarnishing his honor and reputation. His life takes a drastic turn as he finds himself forced to engage in a fierce battle to reclaim his family, while Syria witnesses significant events leading up to independence.

The series deals with the Al-Midan neighborhood in the year 1930 through a large family living in one house, and many issues arise among its members that appeal to viewers, and the work is not satisfied with that, but goes out to the neighborhood to notice the intertwined relations between its members, especially since Al-Midan neighborhood is one of the oldest neighborhoods of Damascus and was at that time in the heart of City.

The series monitors the social, political and cultural life in Syria from the period 1932 to 1936, where the events take place in two neighboring areas: the city of Aleppo, and a supposed rural area called Kom alHajar.
