Teenagers Rose and Bennett were in love, and then a car crash claimed Bennett's life. He left behind a grieving mother, father and younger brother, and Rose was left all alone. She has no family to turn to for support, so when she finds out she's pregnant, she winds up at the Brewer's door. She needs their help, and although they can't quite admit it, they each need her so they can begin to heal.

Through forty interconnected vignettes, Human Theories is a comedic kaleidoscope exploring how people try, and often fail, to connect with one another in this weird world. Filmed over a year on location in New York City with a diverse ensemble cast of over 50 actors and non-actors, the film is an experimental love letter to the awkward struggle of modern city living.

An anthology film of six unique comedy shorts threaded together with your host, faded Hollywood starlet Ruby, and taking inspiration from the glamourous by-gone era of late nite public access weirdness. With live action shorts featuring originals from Podcast About List, Sandy Honig, Nate Fisher & Will Senett, and two animated segments from Episode 1 & Jim Soper, and Nick Mullen & Saul Crinier.
