Three friends - Baaska, Sashok and Petka - gather in an old village club and learn that their childhood friend Vadim, who came from abroad, did not invite them to his wedding. Trying to cope with the bitterness of lost friendships, they immerse themselves in memories and fantasies about a better life.

A young man named Kesha returns to his village after a long absence. He has completed a prison term but now simply wants to live a quiet, normal life. His younger brother, only 17, has plans for college. However, the brothers’ perspectives on the future shift dramatically when Kesha joins a gold-mining crew.

The arthouse project is based on the famous play of the same name by William Shakespeare. According to the plot, the family sends the main character to a boarding house, where the main actions of the semi-documentary experiment of the eminent director will unfold. The filming, by the way, took place in a real boarding house for the elderly and people with disabilities. The roles were performed by residents of this institution.

The story about 40-year-old Vasily, who has been trying to find for more than 20 years happiness in the city. When coming back home to the village, he understands that his already nobody waits and nobody wants it already.
