Mr. Taschenbier, who had previously led a rather unremarkable and monotonous life, becomes suspicious when a big thunderstorm suddenly appears on Thursday. After all, the sun had shone on the previous Sunday, Mr. Mon visited him on Monday, and on Tuesday he was on duty as usual. That would be so far admittedly still nothing special, just as little the middle of the week on Wednesday. On Thursday, however, there is thunder. And when Mr. Taschenbier then also has Friday off, he goes into town on Saturday, curious about what might await him. In fact, he encounters a creature that none of the other passers-by can make sense of. Only he logically suspects that it must be a "Sams".

Hannes Engel is a successful radio presenter in the countryside. By chance, he is heard by program director Conrad Scheffer one night, who immediately recognizes the potential of the cheeky presenter and wants to sign him up as the new figurehead for his late show, which is in a ratings slump. First of all, they have to get rid of the old show host, then Engel's wife has just been thrown out of one of the station's productions, and Engel is also being pursued by a sensationalist tabloid journalist who never misses a chance to drag Engel through the mud....

Reluctantly, Zobel allows Rudolf to join them but warns him to never break the golden rule: "No exchanging of bodily fluids within the team." This dictum becomes increasingly difficult to live by as Lizzie's cravings and Zobel's own passions toward Rudolf intensify. Eventually, the golden rule is broken by Lizzie...and then again by Zobel (unbeknownst to Lizzie, of course). An intricate love triangle soon develops amongst the three that is shaped by deception, desire, and betrayal.

Womanizing thug Klett is sprung from the courthouse by two accomplices, then sets about planning the big heist of a local bank, equipped with a cache of high-powered weapons he's acquired from an American army outpost. Together with his faithful protégé, who reluctantly on-boards his young girlfriend and her AWOL brother, the quartet bumble their way through the supposedly full-proof plan that aims to deliver them a cool million in cash and a new life in Australia. Predictably, things deteriorate quickly at every turn.

On their way to the next town they meet Rosi and all 3 of them fall immediately in love with her. After an intimate party with just the four of them Rosi finds out that she's pregnant and every one of them could be the father. Till they can be sure who the father is the three of them try to help Rosa out in any way they can and to get the necessary money for the baby, the three of them will try anything, regardless how chaotic the outcome will be.

Two professional bums in search of true love.

After a successful year as a businesswoman, Munich boutique owner Marianne Neuhaus decides to go on holiday. On the way to Hannes Kleebauer's horse stud in Austria, she meets the likeable blonde Danish woman Lil, who gives her a lift in her car. Kleebauer is a handsome, middle-aged man and widowed. He would like to get married again, but his jealous, underage daughter Christl is rebellious and has nothing better to do than scare off any potential marriage candidates as subtly as possible. And so, as expected, Marianne and Lil don't have an easy time of it when they arrive at Kleebauer's horse farm.

A dorky uncle and a nag of an aunt mess up a family, their surroundings and ultimately half of Venice. A comedy bordering on nonsense, abandoned by all good spirits.

Due to a plot by the teaching staff, headmaster Taft is forced into early retirement and Knörz is appointed headmaster. Unfortunately, the suitcase containing the robot is swapped with another one on the way there, and now suitcases are being swapped again and again, one of which contains a lottery ticket with a prize worth millions

The series is shot in Prague. The screenplays have - amongst others - been written by Tommy Krappweis, Erik Haffner and Norman Cöster who came up with the stories of Bernd das Brot. Additionally, they are directing and have cameo appearances. Many actors use their respective dialect. Die ProSieben Märchenstunde was nominated for the German Comedy Award in the category Best Comedy in 2006. It is also broadcast on Austrian television channel ORF, which is co-producing the series, airing the programme as Die ORF Märchenstunde.
