Carlos Villamizar

José Gregorio Hernández (Flavio Caballero) was a doctor who dedicated his life to serving the poor, the sick and the dispossessed in times when no one took them into account. Every day he attended to a large number of people who required his services without charging fees, which gave him great fame in the population.

REDENCIÓN combines four stories that converge into one, full of suspense, action and drama, where an elderly man who is treated like a slave BENJAMÍN (Carlos Villamizar), a man with terminal leukemia TRINO (Laureano Olivarez) and a successful but corrupt intelligence officer BRUNO (Carlos Guillermo Haydon), tie their lives to a highly dangerous psychiatric patient LORETO (Marcel Barragán) who escapes and triggers a series of events that will keep the viewer trapped waiting for REDEMPTION.

Trino, Nerio, and Alfonso are poor chamber musicians trying to survive by playing wherever they can. During a general's funeral, the musicians try to play funeral music, but the screams of one of them, who thinks he's seen the deceased's hand move, cause such a commotion that the participants run away in terror.

A hit man of international prestige arrives in Caracas to carry out a political attack without knowing the identity of the victim. From the Illegal Immigrant Detention Center, El Paso, Texas, terrorist Luis Posada Carriles, alias Bambi C4, gets into the action, while revealing his activities in Venezuela and all of Latin America during its most active and deadly period.

The film follows the events of the night of February 4, 1992 in Caracas, Venezuela. That night a group of military rebels staged a coup d'etat. Venezuelans found themselves as virtual prisoners. As the coup starts and fighting takes place from a military base which is in the center of the city's most affluent areas, with both luxury high rises and palatial mansions. The area of La Carlota provides a wealth of very interesting, often flamboyant and typical characters of the Latin America upper middle and upper classes. They are among the most affected. Various vignettes in these different characters' homes are developed. These people's reactions, lifestyles, vices, and humanity come out in a very honest fashion under duress.

Carlitos López tries to recover her robbed car named Sharon, even if that risks his relationships with his ex-wife, girlfriend, and family.

Por Estas Calles is a telenovela broadcast by Radio Caracas Televisión between 1992 and 1994. It was extremely popular in Venezuela, due to its very realistic approach to the day-to-day life of the country and local tone. It was the first Venezuelan program to give a realistic view of the corruption in political life, as well as the first to show the day-to-day life in the poor barrios. For example, it showed the impact on poor people's lives of the intermittent water supply, showing community meetings and lovers' trysts cut short by the news that the water was on, sending everyone running to fill storage tanks and barrels. It was considered by the Spanish edition of the magazine Rolling Stone as the 8th best show between the 100 Best TV Shows Ever in all Latin America. It is believed to be the longest telenovela ever produced in Venezuela.
