Eusebio José Fernández López Reboredo Bergamín is a teenager in the 1960s whose dream is to be a movie director, but General Francisco Franco prohibited in 1964 all types of art. A coincidental encounter with another artist, named Antonio Mínguez, will change his life.

Alessandro, a young, idealistic, and romantic film director, crosses paths with Emma, a perfectionist theatre actress whose dream is to perform on stages across Europe. Their fleeting encounter, portrayed through a non-conventional structure reminiscent of *Bohemian Lights*, reveals that love appears when and where we least expect it. We accompany the protagonists on a journey through a timeless Madrid, filled with colorful characters such as: a megalomaniacal and jealous actor named The Interesting Actor; an obscene film producer called Stefano Clemente; and a priest and a nun searching for anisette. These almost phantasmagorical figures compel the two young protagonists to question their ways of believing and loving.
