TV sports host Ren Xiaoyu (played by Li Xiang) happens to pass by a fast-food restaurant and spontaneously interviews diner Wang Dashan (played by Li Chengru). Though usually critical of the city team, Wang boasts on live TV that he'll form his own "Baozi Team" to challenge them. His drunken claim is broadcast live, sparking huge excitement among local fans. What started as a bluff quickly spirals into a public spectacle. The station, along with Xiaoyu, is forced to turn the joke into reality. Cultural department chief Qian Ning (played by Li Junfeng) and Xiaoyu scramble to recruit the restaurant’s owner and staff as players. They shut down the shop and begin training with the motto: “We won’t steam buns, but we’ll fight for pride!” Meanwhile, a rival team—the well-funded “International United”—also takes up the challenge, vowing to crush the underdogs. A fierce showdown is about to begin...

When a young girl, Ai Qin, pays $25,000 to be smuggled into the UK in order to support her family back in China, she becomes another one of 3 million migrant workers that have become the bedrock of our economy. Forced to live with eleven other Chinese people in a two bedroom house, they work in factories preparing food for British supermarkets. Risking their lives for pennies these unprotected workers end up cockling in Morcombe Bay at night.

Go Fridge

Go Fridge is a Chinese cooking show produced by Tencent Video. The rights were bought from South Korean television series Please Take Care of My Refrigerator. In each episode, two guests bring their refrigerators to the filming studio and sit down to talk with the hosts and other chefs. At the end of examining the fridge, a guest selects two chefs to cook a dish for them to eat, they will each have 15 minutes to cook the dishes, with the winner selected only by the guest alone. The chefs must use a randomized extra ingredient to cook with and incorporate in their dishes.

Roast

Roast is a Chinese stand-up comedy show. In each episode, an experienced celebrity with great interity is invited to be the "roastee" who will invite his or her friends to join the show and take the challenge of "roasting". The show is essentially a comedy performance in the form of talk show. Through the teasing and mockery among guests, the correct philosophies are conveyed in the hilarious moments.

Secret History of Princess Taiping

Secret History of Princess Taiping, also known as Taiping Gongzhu Mishi, is a Chinese historical fiction television series. The protagonist is the firstborn daughter of Wu Zetian, the only female emperor in Chinese history. However in this television series, the princess survived, and when she grows up she impersonates her younger sister Princess Taiping to take revenge on her mother and attempts to seize the throne for herself. Directed by Lee Hon-to and Zhou Min, the series starred three actresses - Alyssa Chia, Zheng Shuang and Lin Miaoke - as Princess Taiping, each playing the princess at a different stage of her life. It was first broadcast in mainland China on Hunan Satellite TV on March 27, 2012.
