Konul Jafarzadeh

The wedding day planned by Lala's father is fast approaching. Emil realizes that time is against him and he must act urgently. At that moment, an opportunity arises: Lala's father is leaving town for a few days to prepare for the wedding. Emil asks her brother Zaur for help in saving Lala from this marriage. Zaur, however, is faced with a difficult choice - his father's will, family traditions and influence in society, or loyalty to his friend and protecting his sister from the same fate.

The story takes place during the COVID-19 pandemic and highlights the socioeconomic effects on a married couple confined to their home due to quarantine.

Every person at least once in their lifetime encounters a soul mate - "their kind of man". But indecision or new types of relations that society forces us to follow, as well as the desire to keep up with everyone, do not allow us to see this person. Sometimes, in vain hope to reach some false ideals, we manage not to notice this kindred spirit, no matter how close he/she is. The plot of the film called "the Maiden Tower" tells about a casual acquaintance of two different people, each of them having their own personal relationships. However, during the acquaintance, both of them realize that they have met "their kind of man." Throughout the film, the characters have to make a choice: either keep everything as it is and return to their lives or start a new relationship with "their kind of man", and this is what each of them has always secretly dreamt.

The film is dedicated to all actors who have failed in their personal lives.

Fuad is an employee of the criminal investigation department, and Anar is a musician who strives to win the love of the audience. Friends who have shared every joy and sorrow with each other since childhood are now unable to divide the love of the beautiful and successful Deniz between them. Their friendship has already passed such a test. So what will happen this time? A story as old as the world, but always relevant... It seems that they have no idea about the world...

The story takes place in a microdistrict that has remained from the Soviet era and has not yet modernized. It portrays the friendships within a group of teenagers, the difficulties they face within their families, and their inner emotional worlds. They don’t gather only to play games and have fun; they also confront the first serious challenges of life.
