An adaptation of a self-improvement book titled *A Man Who Copes with Grief by Washing Dishes*, written by a psychiatrist named Dr. Andreas Kurniawan, Sp.KJ.

Raka, a child actor, is conflicted to choose whether he should attend a school trip with his friends, or pursue a film job opportunity. His mother then makes the choice for him, with some hesitation from Raka's part.

Gina unexpectedly suffers visual hallucinations and sees her dead son whilst preparing to move houses. A cop arrives for an investigation and asks her if she knows anything about the neighbors' missing children. Through this new missing persons case, Gina has to confront the memories and reality she had long tried to suppress.

Rahman (50), a widower who lives alone at home, decided to move out of his house. The reason he moved from his house was because he wanted to forget all his memories with his wife, Dewi (45), who died 5 years ago. When he cleaned up and took care of the things that needed to be packed, the memories of those things resurfaced in his mind. Until one day, he found a cassette tape entitled "My Love", Rahman played it and suddenly the tape contained a recording of his wife's voice. Rahman's attempts to escape the memory of his wife led him to the point where he found what he needed all along.

On this lonesome birthday, Johan tries to celebrate it as if his late mother is still here. Succumbing to his past, though in reality, there is only Paran, his best friend.
