The story unfolds in the turbulent period in the history of Japan, where two imperial courts exist. Kusunoki Masatsura, a warlord of the Southern Court, knows the court is approaching its downfall while spending his days fighting against the Northern Court along with his younger brothers: Masatoki and Masanori. Along the way Masatsura meets Ben no Naishi and the two fall in love. The full-blown cherry blossom season arrives, and with a decisive battle looming Masatsura wonders what he is fighting for. Kinosuke Amano is the second son of the Lord of the Mikazuki clan, based in a lush green village nestled among mountains in Kyushu. He is a free-spirited youth, who slips out of the castle every night and is enchanted by looking at the stars. One summer, on the night of Tanabata (“the Evening of the Seventh”), Kinosuke encounters Sen, a girl from Hotaru Village, and Genta, her friend from childhood. Together, they assemble a turret for observing the stars. From that day onward, Kinosuke, Sen and Genta are friends, transcending social barriers, as they spend long hours every night searching out the stars. Kinosuke and Sen eventually fall in love. However, the time arrives when they must be apart.

Karl was a ship hand, who has decided to return to his hometown of Hamburg. There on the night of the yearly beer festival, he meets Margit, who tells him she has left her family home in search of freedom. They spend the night in a hotel, and fall in love. Not wanting to part, Karl proposes to Margit and the two rent an apartment together. In truth, Margit is the daughter of a prominent Hamburg family, and is engaged to a man named Florian. When her family comes in search of her, Margit vows to only return with Karl by her side.

One Night of Stars The setting is in the middle of the Edo Period during the reign of Yoshimune Tokugawa. Silk Road - From west to east, from east to west, the Silk Road, a trade route carrying culture, civilization, and people, connected Western Europe with Asia over land and sea. A bandit preying on merchants traveling the route obtains a blue diamond. However, it is in fact the lost eye of the Indian goddess Sita. The jewel has changed hands on countless occasions, at times bringing good fortune to its owner, at other times tragic doom. Having roamed the Silk Road since the long distant past, the Eye of Sita invites the bandit on a journey through the copious memories dwelling behind its dazzling facets.

The story is set in the capital of Earth, Takarazuka-City. The peaceful planet Earth — a united world where war, crime, and all evils have been overcome — receives a visit from Baddy, a vagabond rogue from the moon. Baddy is a super-cool, elegant, and a heavy smoker. But he soon finds that smoking is outlawed across the face of the Earth. Baddy, accepting no limits, leads his gang and engages in all sorts of wrongdoing to make the dull world more interesting. His final goal is to steal the planetary budget guarded in Takarazuka Big Theater Bank. But all-mighty female investigator Goody is gaining on him!

Sometime in the future, on Mercury (Polunka). A man whose past has been erased. A woman searching for her memories. It is said that if you travel to the centre of a crater known as SAPA your dreams will come true. Pilgrims chasing their dreams or pursued by their crimes journey to the crater, along with man and a woman searching for the past... Fleeing from their pursuers they wander through the 2112 hour long night, singing the forbidden songs of Earth.
