Based on the Serbian folk tale ‘Girl Faster Than a Horse’, animated film Trkija (Elusiveness) is a story about a girl of peculiar origin and even more peculiar beauty.

The woman is on a train back from Spain. On her lap, a notebook of memories and an orange.

The stories and silences of mothers are often handed down, generation after generation.

A young girl's voice evokes memories; she recounts a series of mischievous rebellions. Little by little, something greater is taking shape.
