The story follows a young man and woman who go through various situations in their journey to find the right partner, which raises questions about traditional marriage and marriage based on love.

Sharifa is a middle-aged woman whose life is dedicated to managing the textile factory that she inherited from her husband, and looking after her family. But an unpleasant surprise lies waiting when she learns that her daughter is in love with their neighbor who is old enough to be her father.

A social drama about a woman and her daughter who travel from their city of Mansoura to Al-Kom Al-Akhdar in Shebin El-Kom. On their journey, they meet the conscript (Saber), and many miserable aspects and the deterioration of social and economic life occur during that period.
