Laços de Sangue is a Portuguese telenovela which broadcast on SIC from September 2010 to October 2011. It is a co-production between SIC and Brazilian Rede Globo. The show also broadcast in several Latin American countries, including Uruguay, Brazil, Bolivia, Ecuador, Paraguay, Peru, Dominican Republic, Costa Rica, and Nicaragua. It won the 2011 Emmy for Best Telenovela.

Doce Fugitiva is a Portuguese telenovela, broadcast in the channel TVI. It aired from October 24, 2006 to September 16, 2007. It's a remake of the 2002 Argentine telenovela Kachorra.

An unlikely love with a happy ending... At age 40, Miguel is at the top of his career as a plastic surgeon, having reached the fame and fortune he worked so hard for. He’s a hopeless bachelor, never committing to any real relationship. This is not just by choice, his situation is a result of never having met his parents and being raised in a children’s home. But, overnight, a simple phone call will change his life entirely, making him recall a point in his life that he’d rather forget. His best friend from the institution was just killed in a car crash along with his wife, but left written instructions behind stating that, if something should happen to him, Miguel should be given custody of his three children, 12-year-old Simão, 8-year-old Jaime and 6-year-old Beatriz. Initially, Miguel will try to dismiss himself from any responsibility but, after meeting the kids, he realizes that he has no choice but to bring them home.

A family by force... Paulo and Susana have been together for a few years now and decide to take the next step in their relationship by moving in together. But, as they're signing the deed to the house, her father, who was supposed to bring the check, ends up delivering the bad news that there is no money for the house, thus ending this young couple’s dream. However, Artur doesn’t want to come off as a bad parent, so he offers his attic to them so that they can start their life together. So, Paulo’s dream turns into an absolute nightmare, as their life as a couple is, in fact, shared with seven other people who are all very different from them and will start controlling their every move in a permanently tense environment. The Mata family, as it turns out, is all insane, the only exception being Susana. And even her will have a hard time convincing the rest of the family to accept and welcome their new member.

Raul Vasconcelos and Helena Brito founded a partnership over 20 years ago and has over a hundred lawyers in its service. Raul has an ego as big as the world and it was that self-assuredness that made him notorious in the courtroom. A love as large as the world itself... Pedro has just returned to the city where he was born and spent most of his life, but mysteriously disappeared without a trace for 20 years. The reasons for his disappearance have always been cause for speculation, as he was something of a celebrity in the city. Despite always denying any direct responsibility, he was known for performing miracles on people's lives by having them look at themselves from a different perspective. Pedro ends up getting involved with Manuela and have a daughter with her named Sofia. Still, he goes through a rough period and receives a serious death threat that makes him leave everything behind.

Despite the hardship, there are those who fight and overcome... Marta is a single mother and a humble woman who’s doing her best to offer her two daughters, Susana e Beatriz, a good life. But when she finds out that her younger daughter has a rare and serious condition, everything changes in this family’s life. Susana decides to seek out Rodrigo, the child´s father and a wealthy man who can afford to pay the much needed surgery abroad. Even though he didn't even know he had a daughter, Rodrigo accepts to pay for the surgery on the condition that he’s granted custody. Marta is then faced with the greatest dilemma in her life: in order to save his daughter, she’ll have to give her up. Rodrigo will end up using Beatriz in an elaborate ploy to get closer to Marta. However, his cousin Gabriel’s return to Portugal will make things difficult for him, as Gabriel will fall in love with Marta, thus turning into Rodrigo's rival.

The border between the North of Portugal and Galicia is the biggest drug entry point in Europe. History not only reflects the reality of clans but also engages in social implications.
