Original story by Yasushi AKIMOTO, writer of the mega hit movie One Missed Call (Chakushin Ari) series. As the project was in development with an idea of an "infectious song (Densen-Uta)", one of the staff called out..."There was a real Densen-Uta!" He discovers on the internet of a song back in 1933, Hungary, which caused mysterious deaths of many people. In "Densen-Uta", high school girls get mixed up in the Japanese version of this infectious song, and with the help of third rate gossip magazine reporter, tries to solve the mystery and horror behind the song. They come to know just how real, an urban legend can become.

Following the brutal rape and murder of his teenage daughter, a single father seeks revenge against the responsible youths. His pursuit for justice becomes a deadly cat-and-mouse game with both the perpetrators and the police.

This film, directed by Banmei Takahashi, is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Atsushi Mizoguchi. It depicts the love-hate relationship between an older brother who tries to live an honest life and a younger brother who tries to return to the world of crime. Shigetoku, the younger brother who made a name for himself in the yakuza group "Toryu-kai" alongside his older brother Atsuhiko, is arrested after a conflict with a rival organization. Eight years later, Shigetoku returns to Atsuhiko, who has gone straight, but Shigetoku shows resentment towards Atsuhiko's lifestyle.

Mortality and death seen through the eyes of a lonely student who has an morbid and albeit naive fascination with death. His teacher, Koichi is also grappling with the issue of mortality as he deals with the impending death of his ailing father, who has decided to spend his final days in the family home. As the story progresses, Koichi finds unexpected solace from his grief by letting his troubled student visit and meet with his father in the hopes that he will understand the meaning of life and death.

Tomoko has been dating Shingo Kawai, an associate professor at a certain women’s university, for three years. Frustrated by the lack of progress in their relationship, she forgot she was driving and launched into a furious tirade at Shingo. Just then, a man named Tadokoro darted out into the road. Forced into a staged accident to settle a debt, he was the unluckiest bloke imaginable—crashing into Shingo’s estate car instead of his intended target, a Mercedes. Panicked, Shingo and Tomoko shoved the limp Tadokoro into the boot and made a narrow escape. That was their stroke of luck. The car, still carrying Tadokoro, was stolen by someone, and next it was used as a getaway vehicle by kidnappers… Unbeknownst to Shingo and Tomoko, the car went on to commit a string of crimes!
