Roekiah

Rohaya (Roekiah) must separate from her lover, Kasim (Rd Mochtar), so that she can marry her father's choice, the disreputable but rich Musa (Eddie T. Effendi). The night before the wedding, Kasim plays the song "Terang Boelan" for Rohaya, and they agree to elope. The following day, Rohaya and Kasim escape from Sawoba Island to Malacca, where Kasim begins work at a drydock and Rohaya keeps busy as a housewife. They discover that Kasim's old friend, Dullah (Kartolo), has lived in Malacca for some time.

Ahmad, the son of a landlord, tried to marry Rochani in various ways. He has many bouncers who like to be cruel to the people. Meanwhile, Rochani likes Yusuf, a young man who has just worked at Ahmad's parents' company. Once, Rochani's younger brother, Dahlan, was beaten by Ahmad's men. In a story that takes place in a kingdom in the middle east. A traveler came to present a gift to the royal princess in the form of a flying horse. In the presence of the king and royal nobles, the royal crown prince tried to ride the flying horse. It flew away and never came back. The traveler was imprisoned. Apparently, the crown prince went to another kingdom and met a princess. The two of them fell in love with each other. However, the king of another kingdom kidnapped the princess he proposed to and took her flying horse. The crown prince also came to the kingdom disguised as a shaman, managed to outwit the kidnapping king and save the princess with the help of the flying horse he had captured.

A group of people go on a search for hidden treasure.

Siti Akbari has a happy family life until her husband deserts her for another woman. But Siti Akbari remains unshakeable. Her devotion leads to her eventual fulfillment.

This is Roekiah's first film with her new partner, Djoemala, after her separation with Rd. Mochtar.
