Bogotá, 1996. Luis Fernando, a 9-year-old Afro-Colombian boy, will face a serious mistake in the adult world, when in class he confirms that the pinkish color in his pencil case, called “skin color”, does not correspond to the color of his skin.

Francine, a foreign actress who is touring her new film, is confronted by her dubbing actress, Ursula, who suffers a crisis upon learning of Francine's retirement from acting.

At the outskirts of town, there is a communitary laundry where Ángela and her neighbors talk while they do their laundry. Just at the moment when the water service starts to work at everyone's house, Ángela finds the value of the little ritual that is disappearing little by little.
