A closely observant film about bodies and touching, proximity and distance and the power of attraction. The aloof Alex works in a training workshop for craftsman where he avoids the attempts of his girlfriend to get close to him physically. At the same time, he’s not at all certain about how to deal with other forces of attraction confronting him . In the small space, between working bodies, behavioural patterns are deciphered and the underlying injuries exposed.

Suse and Ulla are happy together. They live in the country with Ulla's son Karl and enjoy the summer. One day Tom comes by. Tom is Suse's ex - and he is on his way to a rehab clinic. But over the course of the morning it becomes clear: Tom is not yet really comfortable with the fact that Suse has split up with him. And Suse's hope that Tom has grown up a little bit through the planned rehab is soon dashed.

High school sweethearts on the cusp of 30 undertake a 30-day open relationship experiment. Amid awkward dates and emotional upheaval their bond is tested, leaving uncertainty whether it brought them closer or pushed them apart.
