What is March 8th? It's spring, the sun, tulips, mom's smile and the anticipation of falling in love and happiness. There is also a fuss, congratulations, queues in shops, flowers and an endless race for gifts. Every year, on this day, there is a global collapse in which everything is dedicated to women. The most ordinary people who face extraordinary situations, and unplanned meetings radically change their lives.

1927. Trans-Siberian Express. Secret documents that will determine the future of the USSR and China are being transported across Russia. Under the guise of ordinary passengers, foreign intelligence officers and real thugs are hiding, ready to do anything for the sake of documents. A young Red Army soldier and a former Tsarist agent have to team up to uncover a common enemy.

Five aspiring directors, five short stories about the discovery of cinema. Each short story is an independent story exploring how cinema begins, how it influences us and where the line between the screen and reality lies. The film almanac has the widest range of genres, themes, geography of authors, time of action and even frame format. It can be a short sketch from the set, where the lighting technician suddenly changes places and importance with the most influential auteur director; preparation for the first film screening in Rus'; a conversation between friends immediately after the film; a story of a difficult choice between creative freedom and a career; and finally, a free interpretation of the 1986 film about the life of a simple fisherman from Kaliningrad.

Four friends arrange film screenings for the residents of their village. After another outdoor session, they return home. Their conversations about cinema, life and the future are intertwined with subtle matters and eternal arguments.

To earn money, nineteen-year-old Lyosha must lose a Zhiguli race to blogger Shkurny live. But even the younger brother does not know that according to the agreement in the finale, Lyosha must set fire to his grandfather's car. Having penetrated the vibrant world of drifters and learned the story of his grandfather-designer, Lyosha faces a choice whether to succumb to the blogger and destroy the car or defend the honor of his family.

The film’s plot is based on a true story about a 10-year-old boy from a village, Ilya,whose father is killed. The criminal remains unpunished. Nobody around this situation is particularly worried, except the child, who arranges a real hunt for the murderer.

The regular life of Tolya from Siberia is coming to an end: his wife is pregnant. Fearing the weight of responsibility he runs away to work on a shift. However, things don't go as planned. While on a train journey, Tolya meets a homeless boy Kolya. Due to a series of coincidences, wrong decisions, and the cunning of the young boy, Tolya is mistaken for a child kidnapper, and now the police are on his trail. Tolya finds himself playing an unexpected role of a nanny and tasked to deliver his new ward to his relatives in the town of Kogalym. Failure isn't an option, as it would cost him everything: his wife, job, and the future.

In the late 1980s, when “perestroika” was taking place in the USSR and the era of the Soviet Union was about to collapse, life became unstable and very different. The 1980s brought not only freedom, but also waves of crime on the city streets. While some young people began to ‘grow up’ on the streets, others found it difficult to find their place in this unpredictable reality. Andrey, lives with his mother and five-year-old sister. He studies at a music school and often encounters street teenagers who harass him. To protect himself, Andrey makes friends with one of these teenagers, Marat, who introduces him to gang life. Youth groups fight for every piece of territory; they defend their right to live the life, even breaking laws and promises. The only thing that matters to them is the vows they make to their gang members-brothers, with whom they confront the violence and fears of the adult world.
