Sujatha Udayakumar

Ramudu, an orphan raised by Taraka, who discovers he is the son of a wealthy man named Gajapathi. He faces conspiracies from his stepmother and her brother, who seek to seize his inheritance, but is rescued by Taraka.

In order to marry the girl he loves, Subash, a good-for-nothing youth, joins the army. When he returns, he learns that his own brother is using corrupt ways to gain power in politics.

A chieftain is loved by everyone in the village. His arch rival poisons his wife, making her incapable of conceiving a child. On her deathbed, his wife makes him promise to marry another woman who worships him.

Ponnumani and Chinthamani are childhood sweethearts. Chinthamani goes off to pursue education in the city, but they remain devoted to each other. They decide to marry once her exams are over. However, Ponnumani finds her in a mentally unbalanced state in the railway station when she returns.
