The cast of self-unaware weirdos that constitute the budding players become increasingly overwhelmed and emboldened until they stage their own micro-revolution.

During the winter of their second year in high school, Nobue Hayasaki and Tomoya Muraki were happily spending their days together. One night, Muraki encounters a middle-aged woman crying on the street and escorts her home, only for her to suddenly beg him, “I’ll pay you—please sleep with me.” Unable to refuse, Muraki becomes involved with her, but the experience leaves him traumatized, causing him to start skipping school. Meanwhile, Nobue grows increasingly lonely in a life without him.

Three people who have lost their hearts. Futami is young man working in a book cafe who has lost his girlfriend. Amamiya is a radio DJ who has lost his wife. Shizuna is a woman with a puzzling memory disorder and suicidal thoughts. A mysterious woman named Tsuta, who travels with nothing but T-shirts, appears before these three. Tsuta acts cheerfully, yet there is an aura of death about her, and she behaves as if she has known them for a long time. Eventually, the three will confront their own lives and deaths.
