In the spring of 2022, four athletes on The North Face team, Emily Harrington, Brette​ Harrington, Christina Lusti and Hilaree Nelson embarked on the trip of a lifetime. Their expedition to climb and ski epic first descents on Baffin Island, Canada became a celebration—of their​ accomplishments, of their friendship, and of their lives.​

This is the setting and the action of a great adventure, the kind that mountaineering sometimes offers, one that pushes the boundaries to the highest levels of difficulty, commitment, and also the spirit of teamwork in the noblest sense of the word. On Monday, February 13, 2023, Charles Dubouloz, Clovis Paulin, and Symon Welfringer reached the summit of the Grandes Jorasses after repeating the Walker Spur, first climbed by Patrick Gabarrou and Hervé Bouvard in July 1986 and never repeated until then. After five days of climbing, the trio fulfilled a long-held dream, under the watchful eyes of Gabarrou and Bouvard themselves.

She replied that it was to travel the world and explore, but even she couldn’t have imagined this… Mount Vinson is Antarctica’s highest peak. At 4,892m, it takes most people between four and six days to complete the journey to and from the summit. Fulfilling her dream to run in the world’s most remote locations, Fernanda sets out to see how much quicker she can scale the coldest and most isolated of the seven summits.
