Set in the 1990s, these are the life and times of Amado Carrillo Fuentes, a man who became the head of the Juárez cartel. Nicknamed “El Señor de los Cielos” (Lord of the Skies) because of the large fleet of airplanes he used to transport drugs, he was also known for washing more than $200 million through Colombia to finance his huge fleet. He is described as the most powerful drug trafficker of his time.

My fortune is loving you tells the story of Natalia and Chente, who both suffer different situations that change their lives instantly. Natalia comes from a high social position; however, she loses everything when Adrián, her husband, leaves her for what was "her best friend" after 20 years of marriage, in addition, he leaves her on the street and penniless. Vicente, from a different socioeconomic class than Natalia, falls into the hands of a financial fraud that also leaves him in a very difficult economic situation, adding the recent loss of Lucía, his wife, at the hands of a bank robbery in which she was. For Natalia and Chente, they have no choice but to live under the same roof, with which, upon meeting the relationship, they will go through a lot of ups and downs of emotions when they try to resolve their personal situations.

The plot follows the lives of three women belonging to the same family who, being in different stages of life, face a very similar love situation. All three are in seemingly stable relationships, but when true love appears in their lives it will lead them to challenge themselves and do things they never imagined, even going against the norms of the society they belong to.

La Madrastra is a Mexican telenovela produced by Carmen Armendáriz for TelevisaUnivision and originally broadcast on Las Estrellas from August 15 to October 21, 2022. It is a remake of the 1981 Chilean telenovela of the same name created by Arturo Moya Grau. Adapted by Martha Carrillo and Cristina García, and directed by Carlos Cock Marín and Luis Eduardo Reyes, the telenovela stars Aracely Arámbula, Andrés Palacios, Marisol del Olmo, Gabriel Soto, Cecilia Gabriela, Martha Julia, David Zepeda, and Juan Martín Jauregui. The story follows Marcia Cisneros, who is released from prison after serving twenty years for a murder she did not commit. Determined to prove her innocence, she returns to Mexico to reunite with her family and uncover the identity of the real killer. As she confronts betrayal, resentment, and long-buried secrets, Marcia fights to regain the love of her children and rebuild the life that was taken from her.

Presents three incidents narrated from four points of view. The viewer can watch each of the sections in any order, addressing high-impact issues in Mexican reality, such as human trafficking, kidnapping, and pedophilia.
