Returning to find his family murdered, a man infiltrates a local warlord for revenge but uncovers a larger conspiracy.

The film follows Pan Wuyue, a veteran who willingly gives up a comfortable life in the city to return to his rural hometown. There, he leads the villagers in planting fruit trees, developing local industries, and promoting tourism. Patriotic young man Zheng Shaoqing returns from studying abroad to discover his entire family brutally murdered. After extensive investigation, he links the incident to the powerful warlord Marshal Ma. Shaoqing disguises himself and infiltrates Marshal Ma's residence, seeking revenge for his parents. Thus begins a saga of love and hate.
