Initially produced for the Surreal Sit-Com "The Fourth Sex" starring Claudio Santamaria in the role of Jesus that on the night of his 34th birthday goes to visit his new neighbors.

Grandfather Alcide is given a surprise party by his many relatives. He, however, dies of a heart attack. The dearly departed turns out to have been a hardened saver and leaves an astonishing amount of money to his two sons, Alfredo and Nunzio, who suddenly find themselves dealing with a large sum of money. On the advice of Nunzio, the younger brother, Alfredo decides to move to Rome to open a restaurant serving typical Calabrian cuisine, Il Piparedduzzo.

When her mother falls into a coma due to an aneurysm, 16-year-old Cassandra finds herself in the home of her father, whom she hasn't seen in ten years, along with her stepmother and a wild step-sister of the same age named Aurora. The girl is then introduced to the world of Rome's Piazza Giochi Delfici, a meeting place for young people in the area.
