At the height of the Cold War, facing the threat of nuclear annihilation, a group of Hollywood filmmakers—haunted by the horrors of World War II—bands together in a secret programme known as ARCA. A hundred years later, their legacy is our last hope.

Lucas and his crew of fellow writers spend their days in a secret forest that stretches along the railway. Lucas, however, is uneasy: something ominous is happening in the woods and he is the only one able to sense it. An unexpected encounter with a mysterious figure leads Lucas to a cathartic moment, suspended between conflict and freedom.

Grace and her mates get lost whilst skateboarding in a teenaged journey accompanied by the narration of her strange perceptions. Paying homage to sci-fi imagery, skater and streetwear fashion, TAPE001: GRACE, recalls the 90s starting from the title and vintage camcorder shots with which parts of the video were made.

The prototype [TEST TYPE • 154] is a highly sophisticated artificial intelligence, which is capable of autonomously acquiring notions from its surroundings and - eventually - developing autonomy of thought. Given the nearly human nature of its learning capabilities, the laboratory that programmed it hires a kindergarten teacher, asking him to instruct the machine as if it were a newborn child. The learning process - which spans 7 days - becomes increasingly insidious in the long run, posing a peculiar yet crucial problem: can there be a form of autonomous thinking that excludes emotions?
