Wu Ling-shan

Inspired by a true story, "Second Life" follows a woman determined to swim across Taiwan's Sun Moon Lake before she loses her sight completely. She's joined by a group of visually impaired swimmers, all guided by a once-celebrated coach haunted by his past. As they train together, they battle fear, doubt, and old wounds—transforming pain into strength, and strangers into a family. More than a swim, it becomes a journey of healing, redemption, and proving that even in darkness, the human spirit shines brightest.

Rookie lawyer Chen Boyun made a promise at an early age that she will work hard in achieving social justice, and not to drop any opportunities to advocate for justice. Experienced lawyer Fang Chang is the exact opposite; he now only pursues cases that require quick fixes and has long stopped investing personal feelings into cases. When Chen Boyun becomes the intern and personal assistant of Fang Cheng, conflicts ensue as they argue for different "best interests".

The series focuses on neighborhood bond, telling the normal yet extraordinary story of a small town. In a small town in 1982, the town’s train station was the one place with the warmest human touch. Every day on the platform, there would be people happily reuniting or sadly parting ways. There was a small photo studio in the town, and its owner Li An-quan had two beautiful daughters—Wen-xiu and Wen-juan. They led a happy life. One day, Li An-quan suddenly left his wife and daughters without saying anything. They never heard from him since. After 12 years, Wen-xiu is now selling lunch boxes on the platform. Whenever she sees someone resembling her father, she will run after that person to see if it is really him, but she is always disappointed. Her father never returns, but her good friend Wu-xiong comes back after 12 years. After Wu-xiong’s return, a series of events take place in the small town, and Wen-xiu also encounters unexpected twists in life.
