Lupin's Daughter: The Movie

Hana Mikumo (Kyoko Fukada), born into the "L Family," a family of thieves for generations, falls in love with Kazuma Sakuraba (Koji Seto), the son of a family of police officers for generations. While hiding her true identity, she dreams of living a normal life. Eventually, Kazuma discovers her true identity, but the two overcome numerous difficulties, accept their fate, and finally get married. They are blessed with a child, An, and live happily, despite the problems that arise between their two families. Then one day, Hana's father, Takashi (Atsuro Watabe), declares his "retirement from thievery" after a certain incident. He then gives Hana and Kazuma a slightly belated honeymoon as a gift for all the trouble he has caused them. However, this turns out to be the "L Family's" final job in search of the greatest treasure in history, and a grand adventure that will uncover a family secret that even Hana is unaware of.

In the summer of 1963, flats of modern construction begin to be built in the slums where vagrants and women of the night gather. The city hall's plan is to house the slum dwellers in cultural housing, complete with gas and running water. Kenji, a construction worker, and Yumiko, a waitress at a late-night rest house, meet in the slum, but only at dusk. One day, a Korean worker falls from scaffolding at an apartment building site and dies. The site supervisor and city hall workers bury the corpse in the concrete foundations of the apartment building...

She discovers that Kazuma's family, including Kazuma, are actually all police officers. Hana gets involved in a case and falls into trouble. Based on novel "Rupan no Musume" by Dai Yokozeki.

There, she talks about her school reunion. At that time, Seiji, the owner of the restaurant, makes a biting remark that she isn't the type popular with men. She becomes upset by the remark, but she accepts his advice.
