A surreal romance about two adolescents named Persephone and Mara, who decide to escape from the world around them by locking themselves away in an old projector room at the Cinematheque.

Sasha, the younger daughter living in the Canadian countryside, welcomes her family to her home after they have recently escaped Ukraine after the outbreak of war. The tension between her family members gradually builds until things reach breaking point.

Through dreamy textures and thermal imaging, the film hums with quiet longing, lost signals, and the strange intimacy of distance.
