Whilst being interviewed for a popular Sarajevan radio talk show, Hilmo, a mild-mannered elderly mailman, recounts the events he, inadvertently through letters, beared witness to during the early years of his employment in the late 1980s and early 1990s, including stories of bitter rivalries turned friendships, secret romances and struggling business owners in search of a better future.

A young woman caught between love and an opportunity to study abroad; one lost wallet and a chance encounter that opens the possibility of reconciling the past and the present; two friends facing diverging choices and futures; and a call that brings two strangers together make up the four stories set against the Sarajevo skyline and told by women and of women, living in BiH today.

A young writer living in a hotel room, in the midst of a crisis of superficial relationships with multiple women, calls an old friend to reconnect and talk about the one real connection he had prior.
