Guo Xing

Youth Never Returns is a 2015 Chinese romantic comedy film directed by Tian Meng and produced by Manfred Wong, and starring Hans Zhang and Joe Chen. The film is an adaptation of Gu Wei's novel of the same name.

Through unexpected circumstances, an illegitimate daughter, Han Ziqing, crosses paths with Jun Beiye, a prince known as the God of War. Drawn into national conflicts, they face off against various factions together. Despite her low status as the prime minister’s illegitimate daughter, Jun Beiye, who is feared for his battle prowess, chooses to protect her, revealing a deep devotion beneath his ruthless exterior.

In the early Ming Dynasty, commoner Xia Xun accidentally takes the place of the deceased scholar Yang Xu, becoming a pawn of the Jinyiwei, the secret police. After witnessing their ruthless tactics, he decides to fight against injustice. Along the way, he meets Xie Yufei, Ximen Lang, and Ji Gang, forming lasting bonds with them.

On a massive cruise ship that functions like a floating global village, navigation officer Ding Kai and rookie tour leader Tian Ai meet and form a deep connection. As they navigate the challenges of passengers, coworkers, and family, they witness the joys, struggles, and intertwined stories unfolding at sea.
