Set in Japan after a nuclear war. It is a world where due to the war water has become polluted, and a king has taken supreme authority and controls the water source. The only clue to his past is the blue beaded necklace he's wearing. That necklace was sent by Miu, one of the troupe's dancers, to the man she loved — who went missing when he set off in search of the legendary realm of the former king, "Shangri-La". Miu gives the man the name "Sora" and together, in order for him to recover his past and her to find her love, they embark on a journey to search for "Shangri-La". Thus begins their destiny, which will influence the future of the country...

This has a theme of "giving a light like that of the stars," since it is for Star Troupe, which gives the sparkle of all the stars in the heavens to people's hearts. This is a work which will allow the stars of Star Troupe to showcase their energetic singing voices and dance overflowing with liveliness.

Taking place between the first two musicals, Edgeworth has been wandering the world for several years, trying to find a new reason for practicing law. As he boards a flight to visit his hometown in California, he runs into hopeless loser and wannabe ladies man Larry Butz. After both fall asleep on the plane, they wake up to discover they are somehow in the past, when Gregory Edgeworth, Miles' father, was still alive. Miles soon finds himself embroiled in a murder investigation involving a woman named Alison Teresa, and is deterimined to unravel what happened, even if it means prosecuting against his own father.
