Based on a script by Andrzej Żuławski, this is a fascinating on-screen dialogue between father and son that combines nostalgia and fury, the sublime with humor, and old-school style with a sharp, penetrating look at Polish reality. The eponymous bird talk is the language used by those excluded from the aggressive majority: a history teacher tormented by children, a teacher of Polish studies fired from his job, a girl who cleans a banker’s villa, a florist with a club foot and a student with a fascination for cinema. Pushed to the margins by the extreme right, they defend themselves with irony, songs and quotes from the classics.

Four friends on the threshold of adulthood spend the summer day together in the absence of their parents. Ordinary at first glance, with time, it begins to lose its seemingly carefree. It turns out to be a joint attempt to say something that everyone senses, but that nobody wants to talk about openly.

It's the last week of school in a small polish town's junior high school. The action takes place somewhere in Poland, where ‘LGBT free zones’ are a reality in 2020. It’s a story about young people, their problems and romantic endeavours in the era of the Internet and social apps, when creating genuine relationships is unnaturally difficult.

Drew, a Vietnamese immigrant in Warsaw, spends his days working in his mother’s grocery shop, constrained by her rigid expectations. Behind closed doors, he leads a secret life as a nail artist, crafting intricate designs and breaking cultural taboos. When he meets Bo, a nail artist and owner of a nearby beauty salon, she recognises his talent and spurs him into action.

Fed up with pandemics, quarantines and news about ecological disasters, worried about their own uncertain future and the fate of the world, a group of high school students are invited by Kamil, a millionaire's son, to a party at his father's seaside residance.

Pola is at the peak of popularity - at the age of only 22, she fills the halls at her concerts and is very successful in the music industry. One day, after one of her performances, the girl under the influence of alcohol causes a car accident. To hush up the case, the star's father, and at the same time the star's manager, places her in an addiction therapy and treatment center, where the singer is forced to do community service. Soon there he meets Borys - a charismatic instructor, famous for his unconventional methods of work.

Even though Maja has devoted her entire life to acting, she does not believe in herself and her abilities. Therefore, after graduating from acting, she plans to apply for marketing and management. Everything changes when a new director crosses Maja's path.

After 25 years of marriage, Basia and Grzegorz’s passion has faded into predictable routine. Hoping to reignite their spark, Basia books a weekend at an exclusive spa hotel and arms herself with a “Sex for the Reluctant” guide, only to have their plans shaken when Grzegorz’s confident boss Maks and his seductive partner Domi arrive, turning their getaway into a weekend of unexpected tension and temptation. Will they rediscover each other and remember what it truly means to be together?
