At the crucial moment when autonomy is lost, the question arises for older adults, their families, caregivers, and those who support them: What should be done with the time constantly gained over death? Within the confined spaces of homes or the cramped rooms of nursing homes, conflicts arise, losses and acts of solidarity play out, and bonds of tenderness and joy form—all of which speak to the richness and depth of life’s long journey. Behind the hushed silences, the apparent stillness, and the slow pace, new spaces open up to be explored…

A documentary allowing us to witness genuine conversations with people who know the date of their death.
