Winter 1996, Harbin. Sha Guo, a boy with a uniquely feminine singing voice, loves to sing but faces bullying and isolation at school, along with strict control and pressure from his obsessive mother. By chance, he meets Sitiao, a nightclub host and stage director. When an earthquake strikes, the hospital moves pregnant women to Luohan Temple, turning it into a makeshift maternity home. Amid the disaster, Xiao Lan experiences the emotional and physical challenges of survival, testing the limits of humanity.
