New Jersey teen Daniel LaRusso moves to Los Angeles with his mother, and soon strikes up a relationship with Ali. He quickly finds himself the target of bullying by a group of thugs, led by Ali's ex-boyfriend Johnny, who study karate at the Cobra Kai dojo under ruthless sensei John Kreese. Fortunately, Daniel befriends Mr. Miyagi, an unassuming repairman who just happens to be a martial arts master himself. Miyagi takes Daniel under his wing, training him in a more compassionate form of karate for self-defense and, later, preparing him to compete against the brutal Cobra Kai.

Survivor star Jimi Jamison returned to Firefest for the second time to perform at Firefest VIII on October 21st 2011, at Nottingham Rock City. Former Survivor vocalist Jimi Jamison made, incredibly, his first ever UK appearance in front of the enthusiastic crowd at Firefest 2010 at Nottingham's famous Rock City, where he proceeded to steal the show with a stunning performance featuring all his hits from his time in Survivor and as a solo artist. Backed by a great band featuring the popular Tommy Denander on guitar, the DVD release recorded on October 31st 2010 gives fans the chance to see the legendary performance all over again!
