THE MATCH 2022

Tenshin Nasukawa vs. Takeru (also known as The Match 2022) was a professional kickboxing event held at The Tokyo Dome on June 19, 2022. Rizin Fighting Federation CEO Nobuyuki Sakakibara was a general producer, and has stated that this would be a neutral event regardless of the organization. The main card featured fighters from K-1, RISE, and other kickboxing promotions. The main event was a cross-promotional bout between Tenshin Nasukawa, representing RISE, and Takeru, representing K-1.

K-1 WORLD GP 2019: K'FESTA 2

The K-1 WORLD GP 2019 JAPAN K’FESTA.2 occurs on March 10, 2019, at Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. This event showcases fighters like Takeru Segawa, Koya Urabe, Yoshiki Takei, and Sina Karimian. Competitors clash in title fights and high-profile matchups. The night delivers explosive kickboxing action. It’s K-1’s marquee event to kick off 2019.

RIZIN 45

RIZIN 45 live from the Saitama Super Arena in Saitama, Japan. The main event will be a bantamweight title showdown between Juan Archuleta and Kai Asakura. American athlete “The Spaniard” Archuleta picked up the RIZIN title earlier this year and is now looking to add his first title defense. Additionally, the 36-year-old athlete is a former Bellator MMA world champion. Japan’s Kai Asakura is a fan favorite. He and his brother are known for their exciting and tactical style of fighting. Throughout his career, the majority of his wins were captured by way of knockout or TKO. Asakura is coming off a of knockout by way of a knee to the body to earn his title shot.

RIZIN Year-End Super Powerhouse Matsuri

In Tokyo's Saitama Super Arena, RIZIN warriors clash on December 31 for 師走の超強者祭り. Featherweight contender Shaydullaev meets Mikuru Asakura in a title fight. Bantamweight rivals Naoki Inoue and Danny Sabatello battle. Atomweight stars Seika Izawa and RENA fight for supremacy. Lightweight champion Roberto "Satoshi" Souza defends against Shunta Nomura.

K-1 WORLD GP 2018: Super Bantamweight Championship Tournament

The K-1 WORLD GP 2018 JAPAN Super Lightweight Championship Tournament occurs on December 8, 2018, at Osaka Prefectural Gymnasium in Osaka, Japan. This event highlights fighters like Rukiya Anpo, Fumiya Osawa, Yuto Shinohara, and Kenta Hayashi in the 3rd Super Lightweight Championship Tournament. Competitors fight in an eight-man bracket to secure the title. The night delivers fast-paced kickboxing action. It caps off K-1’s 2018 with a thrilling showdown.

K-1 WORLD GP 2022: Super Bantamweight Championship Tournament

The K-1 WORLD GP 2022 JAPAN 3rd Super Bantamweight Championship Tournament takes place on February 27, 2022, at Tokyo Metropolitan Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan. This kickboxing event features an eight-man Super Bantamweight Championship Tournament with fighters like Akihiro Kaneko, Masashi Kumura, Shunki Sasaki, and Riamu. Additional bouts include Takeru Segawa vs. Taito Gunji in an exhibition and Kana vs. Ran on the undercard. It’s a defining night for K-1’s super bantamweight division in 2022.
