A married couple welcomes young Genaro into their home through adoption. Upon his arrival, he meets his new siblings, Nuria and Samuel. When brothers Pedro and Jimi discover that a demonic infection has been festering in a nearby farmhouse, they attempt to evict the victim from their land. On 9 July – Argentina’s Independence Day – Llinás sets off in Buenos Aires with his regular cameraman Agustín Mendilaharzu to re-record ‘Corsini interpreta a Blomberg y Maciel’, an album made in 1929 by lyricist Hector Pedro Blomberg and composer Enrique Maciel, as an ode to Juan Manuel de Rosas, leader of the Argentine Confederation.

The great Schettinimous used to be a “psychomagician” artist, renowned in his youth. In present day, now an old man, he is invited to a television show to be parodied by the interviewer, which gives way to an emotional release that will put every decision he ever took in doubt.

Eliseo is the superintendent of an upscale building.
