Shams is a young girl who resides in the local neighborhood of Ain Shams. The life of the family turns into a tragedy when they learn their young Shams has leukemia, and they try to fulfill her only wish to visit Downtown Cairo.

Hiyam, a young factory worker, lives in a lower-middle-class neighbourhood, along with her co-workers. She is clearly under the spell of Salah, the factory's new supervisor. Believing that love can transcend their class differences, Hiyam relentlessly pursues a dream of the pair being together. However, when a pregnancy test is discovered in the factory premises, her immediate family and close friends accuse her of sinning. Hiyam decides not to defend herself and pays an enormous price in a society that fails to accept her.

The series depicts the issue of how young girls are married off to much older men in rural Egypt, through the story of Abdel Qawy, an old man who marries multiple minors, and the conflict between him and those who oppose him, including Etr and Attiat.

After letting go of his criminal past and settling in a new city to start over, young Touba's life turns upside down when a person from his past appears and allies with his worst enemy.

An Egyptian family living abroad decides to return to Egypt when a bout of nostalgia strikes the parents. Their children reluctantly agree to the decision but they all face a series of comical situations beyond what they expected from the moment they land.
