In her debut, the Ukrainian director composes a deeply emotional and multi-layered portrait of a generation whilst seamlessly flowing between the fictional and the documental.

A girl named Masha is soon to be 20 years old. She's feeling really anxious about it, because being 20 means being an actual adult - and her day to day life just doesn't look the part. We observe Masha's life for one full day. And that day the girl notices something weird - and tries to get rid of it.
