Adam Marshall Present

Following a road trip alongside the Mississippi River, everyday Americans are asked to talk about what’s on their minds right now - with their only prompt being to listen to what the person before them has shared.

The fanatic beliefs of an internet mystic, a cult leader, and a rookie cop gone rogue are tested on the hunt for the "Hidden Man" -- an elusive forest-dwelling cryptid that terrorizes their idyllic suburb.

"We're the Marvels" follows a young woman preparing a Thanksgiving dinner for a group of friends as a practice run before making actual Thanksgiving dinner for her family. As we see the prep, the dinner, and the aftermath, out of order, we start to see that she and her friends similarly struggle with feelings of over-reliance on others - a feeling that’s just waiting to burst.

This prologue of discarded images offers a quiet reflection on process, memory, and the unexpected life of unfinished work.
