The clash of two styles of approaches to people, science, and business is the main conflict of the film. Both central characters - the head of the Altai complex space station and the experiment leader Andrei - are people devoted to science. But Altai is an emotional person, he manages to take care of people, forgive them their small shortcomings and mistakes. Andrey is dry, sometimes even rude to his employees. His absorption in work sometimes borders on selfishness. This gives rise to a clash with Touma, a gifted physicist, but a man of a different plane.

The worker Adam, a man angular and a little funny, did not have a personal life or business at work for a long time. It was only out of respect for his mother that Adam was enlisted in the squad of high-rise installers. But as soon as the guy started his new duties, a "burning" ticket to a high-altitude campsite turned up. The unexpected adventures that happened to him in the mountains of the Trans-Ili Alatau became special days in his life...

The heroine of the film Karagoz Alimbayeva comes from the village, where she worked as a zoo technician for five years, to the city to enter the veterinary institute. Having brilliantly passed the profile subjects, Karagoz gets a three on the last physics exam and, having failed to get one point, must return to the village.
