The musical scene thrives in South Korea with Xcalibur. The production showcases the journey of King Arthur, exploring his discovery of new-found responsibility as a young leader and getting married to the love of his life, Guinevere only to experience a reality far from what was expected.

Led by the itinerant carnival vendor dealer Ursus, Gwynplaine joins a traveling troupe with blind girl Dea and becomes the most famous clown in Europe. His fame, however, soon leads him to corruption and confusion. Set in seventeenth-century England, the work criticizes the state of society in which social justice and humanity have been eroded, and sheds light on the value of human dignity and equality through Gwynplaine's journey.

Featuring K-Pop sensation Super Junior's Kyuhyun, world renowned soprano Sunhae Im and world class ballerina Joowon Kim, this lavish Korean production of Maury Yeston and Arthur Kopit's, "Phantom", is an eye-dazzling and ear-pleasing take on Gaston Leroux's 1910 novel "The Phantom of the Opera".
