While conducting interviews with women working in local brothels, Fernando, a journalist, meets Elisa. The woman will tell him her dramatic story, which begins at age 14 when she is raped by her godfather.

An old priest, who has old ideas, is intended to exercise the apostolate in a neighborhood in the suburbs of Madrid. There the revolutionary climate and anti-religious character of the congregation thwarts all his attempts to attract them. The Archbishop admonishes him and asks to renew his methods, using the example of a young priest of a modern parish. The old priest tries to apply in his environment what he has seen in the parish model, setting off a chain of events.

When truck driver Manolo is accused of a grave crime by a young woman from a nearby town, his fate hangs in the balance. Enter Marta—a sharp, determined lawyer whose brilliance quickly shatters his initial mistrust. As she digs through layers of small-town secrets and conflicting testimonies, Marta becomes convinced of Manolo’s innocence. But with circumstantial evidence stacked against him, the only way out is to uncover the real culprit—before the law forces a choice between prison or a marriage he refuses to accept.

A band of young musicians will do the impossible to boycott a song they didn't like that's supposed to represent Spain in a famous musical contest.
