The ponytail is a dumpster version of the Oedipus myth. Diana, a prostitute from Vienna, returns to the city. She has a trace, memory gaps, and milk started flowing from her breasts. Twenty-year-old orphan-outcast May suspects that she may be its author. Diana's return coincides with one made in the neighboring forest. May is arrested for being violent on police officer Max's wife.

Deep in the thick forest, far from civilization, lives a small community whose rules are dictated by a mysterious ruler. The villagers spend their days working and endlessly awaiting the arrival of an expected guest.

The radical Polish director Małga Kubiak is regularly represented with her films at the Pornfilmfestival Berlin. In 2016 we showed “Andy Warhol to se vrati: boyz” and in 2019 followed “Federico Garcia Lorca Noir Despair”. Last year she was in the festival program with “Xreens”. In her latest film “D’Vinci”, the filmmaker again reflects on a famous artist. As expected, it did not turn out to be a typical biopic, and Kubiak dives deep into the meaning that her films and her way of working have and had for herself and for others – as always in her incomparable no-budget style. In today’s conservative Poland, her way of making films is no easy feat.

Antoni Krauze reminds one of the darkest history of the cards with PRL. Spectacular reconstruction of the dramatic events in Gdynia, ended a brutal pacification of demonstrators by troops and militia in 1970.
