1322 Islamic Calendar year; Iran before the constitutional revolution. People have formed a revolutionary committee to fight Khan. Cossack brigades are torturing and executing people, and Sheikh Saleh and his brother Esrafil with the help of an old man named Khajeh Isaa are prepared to fight against Khan and his steward Hollakoo.

Akbar, after completing his period of exile, goes to Tehran to attend the wedding ceremony of his brother Habib and Maryam. But when he arrives, he finds that a mourning chamber has been set up for his brother instead.

Farhad and Taher are two friends and partners who run a cabaret. Farhad becomes acquainted with Nazi during a trip to the north and develops an interest in her. Nazi has a warm voice, and Mahmoud, who is a rival cabaret owner to Farhad and Taher, tries to employ Nazi in his own cabaret. Farhad goes to Europe to hire some singers and loses one of his hands in an accident there. Knowing that Nazi will not accept him, Farhad stays in Europe for a while, hoping to forget Nazi.

Pari and her friend Mahin, under Jalal's orders, position themselves in the path of Mehdi and his friends to disrupt his marital life. Jalal, who had been Mehdi's worker, ended up in prison after issuing a forged check in Mehdi's name and subsequently being accused by him. After being released from prison, Jalal informs Fereshteh, Mehdi's wife, about her husband's affair with Pari, leading Fereshteh to leave Mehdi's house in anger.
