Jack and Marsha, a married couple who live apart, meet once a year on their anniversary to play a vicious game: whoever wins gets to take over the lifestyle of their partner, and whoever loses must start their life over from scratch. But this year Marsha is ready to go to the mats and end both the game and her marriage.

Sofia, a promising young LA-based musician, returns to her home-town of Kyiv for the first time in four years. Her brother is getting married, the tables are heaving with food, everyone is there, including her ex-boyfriend. And then, suddenly, the sirens start wailing, and with the hangover comes the fight for survival.

Returning home after an abortion, Sophie finds her husband cheating on her. Overwhelmed, she invites his mistress to lunch in order to take her revenge.

How We Lost It is an experimental short depicting a young maiko in preparation for the defloration ritual, a now outlawed ‘ceremony.’
