Documentary film about the adventurous professional life of sponge divers on the Greek Aegean island of Kalymnos. Their existence has been called into question since the entire sponge population became unusable due to fungal infestation in the fall of 1986, for which the fishermen blame the Chernobyl disaster.

Ed Montenez is a Shadow Wolves Tracker and Border Patrol Agent hunting a lone Coyote who carries a mysterious package. Infused into the chase are a pair of rogue militiamen hell-bent on defending the border and a suspicious Federal Agent investigating border killings and corruption. No matter their motives, each one of them becomes indentured to the package once they uncover the nature of its contents.

Maya, a shape-shifting soul-collector, seeks to lead a group of unsuspecting non-believers into the afterlife. As space and time become a blurred mirror of reality and Maya's mysterious abilities take on a dark and ominous tone, fear becomes the only key to salvation. For this group of unsuspecting victims, their deepest terror becomes their only way out.
