Artyom Streletski, a therapist known for his non-conventional approach to solving patients' problems, has lost almost everything: his family, his friends, his practice, and the ability to trust the people around him. In a desperate attempt to escape from everything that hurts he moves away and settles on the outskirts of the country, in a small town filled with his sweet childhood memories. He starts a brand new career and finds new love but the past is catching up with him, and to regain the happiness Artyom has to face his troubles and stop running away from them once and for all.

Moscow, 2014. Maxim Pozharsky, a successful financial analyst, helps already well-off people get rich. Without asking unnecessary questions, he just takes his course. But everything in his world changes when the only person close to him, Nina's sister, disappears in the Middle East and ends up in captivity.

In the upcoming elections in the non-existent Kuibyshev region, businessman Andrei Obolensky, at the suggestion of the country's leading political strategist, becomes the spoiler candidate of the current governor Koretsky. The spoiler's task is to pull votes from Morozov's main competitor and withdraw from the election in favor of Koretsky. But the further the game goes, the more Obolensky gets into the taste. It is no longer clear who is playing against whom, and most importantly, what is at stake for everyone.
