Maya is a jet-setting Greek actress who returns to her homeland to undertake the role of Medea. Searching for inspiration and clues as to how a mother could kill the children she loves, Maya discovers Brenda, a Bible-spouting American woman serving time in an Athens prison for that very crime.

The owners of a glass shop (Spyros Ioannou and Panagiotis Soupiadis) are unjustly accused of tax evasion. They end up being pursued by the police and by the smuggler, whose car they stole to escape—a car that is full of contraband gold.
